The Protocol Plugfests organized by Microsoft® offer software developers the chance to learn more about the Microsoft® protocols, to test their implementations with internal protocol test suites with Microsoft® engineers and to evaluate the degree of interoperability of their software. These events aim at creating an ecosystem dedicated to shipping interoperable systems by offering a space where vendors and open source communities can work closely together. The Redmond Interoperability Plugfest 2014 agenda will focus on Windows® File Sharing, SharePoint®, Microsoft Exchange® and SQL Server® protocols.
