Zentyal announced today the availability of a free Zentyal Enterprise Edition Trial, that enables the users to configure and test a fully-functional commercial server environment for up to 30 days. The trial does not include unlimited technical support that is included by default in the commercial server editions, but all the other features are available for evaluation.
The trial gives the users access to Disaster recovery service, Remote monitoring and management options and Software and security updates. Full access to Zentyal Remote, remote monitoring and management platform for Zentyal servers and desktops, is specially interesting for organizations with multiple Zentyal installations as it will give the chance to evaluate remote monitoring and management options, alerts and troubleshooting, hardware inventory, remote desktop access and reporting features.
Along with the introduction of the free trial, Zentyal announced also the availability of Remote Desktop Access for Windows 7 and Windows XP. The Small Business Edition includes 5 desktop access licenses and the Enterprise Edition 25 desktop access licenses. Additional licenses are available for purchase through the Zentyal On-line Store.
