Zentyal Summit begins tomorrow with a record number of participants

(Zaragoza, Spain) The first Zentyal Summit begins tomorrow in Zaragoza, Spain, with a number of participants that double the initial estimates. The event will take place on the 11th and 12th of November in the Milla Digital facilities, on Friday in the CIEM (Avenida de la Autonomía, 7) and on Saturday in the Digital Water Pavilion (Avenida de la EXPO 2008).

This international event offers a meeting place for the users and developers of Zentyal Linux small business server, widely used tool in the small and medium businesses regardless of sector, industry or location as well as in the public administrations or in the education sector all over the world.

During the event, Zentyal Development Team will unveil details of the partnership agreement signed earlier this week with Canonical, present the roadmap of the next Zentyal server version and give a series of technical workshops, aimed at current and potential Zentyal customers, partners, community members and users.

In addition, the summit features prominent international speakers such as Roberto Galoppini from SourceForge, one of the most popular software repositories in the world, Mihai Bilauca and Patricia O’Dwyer from the Limercik City Council (Ireland) or Christophe Sauthier, president of Ubuntu France. Likewise, Spanish speakers such as Luis Palomero from Sabeco-Simply, Alejandro Escobar from Aitire and Francisco Solans from Neodoo will share their experiences on Zentyal server use cases.

Zentyal Summit 2011 will be held right after the Libre Software World Conference 2011, that takes place in Zaragoza on the 9th and 10th of November. The Summit is organized in collaboration with the Local Government of Aragón, Zaragoza City Council, Business Consortium for Open Source Software in Aragón (CESLA) and National Reference Center for ICT Based on OSS (CENATIC).
