Zentyal Summit 2012 starts with over 220 registered attendees

Zentyal Summit 2012 begins tomorrow in Zaragoza, Spain, with over 220 registered attendees. The event will take place on the 4th and 5th of October in the facilities of the Zaragoza City Council (Edificio Seminario, Vía Hispanidad 20), it will be held in English and an important part of the talks will be available through on-line streaming through the Summit website: summit.zentyal.com

This international event, that counts on speakers and attendees from across the Europe, Middle East and Latin America, is aimed at both IT support and service providers and IT administrators interested in taking Linux-based IT infrastructure management solutions to small and medium businesses (SMBs). The event features a large number of commercial presentations and technical workshops by Zentyal – developer of the Linux small business server, Canonical – developer of the popular Ubuntu operative system, and Zarafa – developer of the Zarafa email and collaboration platform and many other key players in the sector.

Moreover, the summit offers keynotes from internationally renowned speaker such as Tom Henriksson (Open Ocean) “The keys to identify and scale category-winning open source companies”, Jesús González Barahona (Bitergia) “How can development metrics help to take decisions about free software?” and Rodrigo Magalhães (Leucotron) “How Zentyal helps Leucotron reshaping its own business”. Likewise, during the event it is possible to have the first public preview on Zentyal Cloud, learn more about the Zentyal Remote monitoring and management platform and to give feedback for the future Zentyal server versions.

The Zentyal Summit 2012 is organized in collaboration with the Zaragoza City Hall, Canonical, GlobbTV, Local Government of Aragón, CENATIC, Neodoo, Zarafa and Calat.
