Zentyal will participate in the “Presentation of Linux Education Programs LPI, Linux Essentials and Zentyal Academy” that will take place on February 4 in Barcelona (Spain), in the INS Mare de Deu de la Merce (C / Motors, 122-130). The event is organized by PUE (Proyecto Universidad Empresa) in collaboration with the La Direcció General de Formació Professional Inicial i Ensenyaments de Règim Especial del Departament d’Ensenyament de la Generalitat de Catalunya.
This event is particularly aimed at teachers of vocational training centers with superior or intermediate grade formative course on computer science. It aims to present to the educational community the available options to train their students in officially certified Linux technologies through education programs such as Zentyal Academy and Linux Professional Institute (LPI).
The attendees will have the chance to attend a practical workshop on Zentyal: how Zentyal can be used both from an academic point of view – to train teachers and students – and how it can be used in practice to manage the network of a training center. In addition, LPI will present the new Linux Essentials certification and attendees will be informed on how to become official Zentyal Academy and LPI training centers.
The event is free of charge, but pre-registration is required. Regulated Training Centers (with government approved training program) can register through this form.
