Training Academies, Training Distributor and the Vendor
The Zentyal Academy Program has three main players: Training Academies, Training Distributors and the vendor, Zentyal itself. On one hand, the Zentyal Training Academies are official vocational education centers that introduce Zentyal-based training in their curriculum and train their students with Zentyal technology.
On the other hand, the Zentyal Training Distributors are authorized representatives of Zentyal in a specific region. These training distributors are responsible for selecting, evaluating, training and certifying the instructors of the Zentyal Training Academies. They also provide them with materials, technical support, textbooks and manage the official certification exams.
Finally, the role of Zentyal is to develop and maintain the training materials and methodologies, define and maintain the certification exams as to train and give support to the Zentyal Regional Academy. Additionally, in case there is no Regional Academy in the training academy’s region, Zentyal collaborates with the academy directly.
How to become a Zentyal Training Academy
The process for becoming a Zentyal Training Academy is easy and straightforward. To start with, the official vocational education center must submit a partnership request after which they receive the details of the Zentyal Academy Program and they will be evaluated by the Zentyal Training Distributor or directly by Zentyal.
Once both parties have reached a common agreement regarding the partnership, they sign a Partnership Agreement and the new Zentyal Training Academy will be given the necessary materials to start training their instructors. Once the training is finished and the instructors are certified, the Partnership Agreement is made public and the Training Academy is given access to promotional materials, as well as to the on-line training platform that allows the Training Academy to teach their students with Zentyal technology.
