Elekta found in Zentyal a solution which brought together all the required elements in one integrated package. What is more, the support and partnership provided to develop it into a unique and tailored product was excellent. Zentyal’s flexible and responsive involvement was essential to the delivery of this important component of our radiotherapy product suite.

One of the main challenges of implementing the School 2.0 Program is the renewal of the network infrastructure of the schools to enable them to provide a safe and proper operation of the assigned computer equipment. To address this challenge, the Department of Education of the Government of Aragon decided to offer a common solution for all schools, with institutional support and choosing the Zentyal server as the technological solution. The main reasons for this choice were that Zentyal was open source software and professional technical support was available, provided by the manufacturer, making the project viable.

North American Bancard (NAB) has seen numerous benefits since we started deploying Zentyal servers. The most obvious benefit is costs savings, measured upwards of $100,000 yearly. Moreover, as we now deploy a single server instead of many, we have noticed a reduction in the monthly electric bills. Zentyal is extremely simple to install, setup and configure. We have used the Microsoft product in the past and have found that the Zentyal is far superior in quality, functionality and most importantly, in stability.

This solution has allowed OPAEF to reduce significantly the time and costs required to manage network services of their offices. As the chosen technology solution is open source, all the software licensing costs have been removed. Moreover, the support for the deployment, training and maintenance was obtained directly from the Zentyal Development Team, but INPRO has all the freedom to manage the solution. From our point of view, this has greatly increased the quality and speed of the service provided to the end users.

Zentyal allows Intrinsyx to leverage the Debian Code of Conduct to expose one of the easiest to use web interfaces, sanely setting up very complex services like LDAP, Email, and VoIP with a few clicks of the mouse. It does not prevent you from installing packages like vsftpd or kvm, and the up-grade to 1.4 was painless and quick!
By choosing open source solution such as Zentyal, we hope to keep our IT costs low while being able to support all our users with basic network services, no matter what operating system they have on their laptop.

Our servers run Ubuntu – Zentyal is based on the same software and, moreover it has an easy-to-use and beautiful interface. It is a perfect match for us!
IES Espiñeira opted for deploying Zentyal for two main reasons – firstly, because it is open source software and secondly, because of the easiness of installation and use.
