Zentyal – The Linux Small Business Server 

Zentyal has closed series A venture capital funding of over $1 million USD by Open Ocean Capital, leading investor in community and open source business. The funding will be used to support Zentyal’s expansion in the small and medium business (SMB) server market

The first Zentyal Summit begins tomorrow in Zaragoza, Spain, with a number of participants that double the initial estimates. The event will be held on the 11th and 12th of November in the Milla Digital facilities and it offers a meeting place for the users and developers of the Zentyal Linux server.

Zentyal, developer of the Linux small business server of the same name and Canonical, the organisation behind Ubuntu, announced today a partnership agreement to extend the availability of Ubuntu Advantage to SMBs through Zentyal’s partner network.

The Development Team of Zentyal, the Linux small business server previously known as eBox Platform, announced today the availability of Zentyal 2.0. Zentyal 2.0 is a new major release of this server software and it is based on Ubuntu 10.4 LTS distribution.
