Zentyal 2.0 – A major new release of the Linux Small Business Server

The Development Team of Zentyal, the Linux small business server previously known as eBox Platform, announced today the availability of Zentyal 2.0. Zentyal 2.0 is a new major release of this server software and it is based on Ubuntu 10.4 LTS distribution. This version includes mayor improvements in the usability, performance and stability of the software. It also integrates new features such as the bridge mode, FTP server and Zarafa groupware application.

The Linux small business server eBox Platform will change its name to Zentyal in order to reflect more accurately the product and the services based on it. The change will become effective from the 1st of September, with the launch of the new 2.0 version of the server software.
