Zentyal Sysadmin
We’re looking for a skilled sysadmin with some developing skills to work in a fast growing open source start-up, challenged by complex system environments. Ideally, you have a serious crush on system administration and integration and you are always looking for new and creative solutions based on free software bricks.
Educational and language requirements:
- Graduated in any software related degree.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
Technical skills:
- Experienced in administering GNU/Linux systems (Ubuntu, Debian)
- Experienced in scripting languages (Perl, Python, Ruby, …).
- Used to work in distributed environments (Subversion/Git, Trac/Redmine, …).
- Knowing any of the following is a plus: OpenERP, Moodle, Magento, Redmine, Trac.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Propose and integrate new system solutions for internal requirements.
- Install, configure and document new hardware and software.
- Ensure that the system infrastructure is up and running.
- Analyze system logs, identify potential issues with systems, tune system performance, troubleshoot any reported problems and take on responsibility for security.
- Answering technical queries from internal users, assisting eBox developers in systems-related issues when needed.
