School 2.0 Seal of Quality
In April 2011 Zentyal was granted a School 2.0 Seal of Quality (Sello Escuela 2.0) by the Ministry of Education, in public recognition of the company’s commitment to develope and improve educational quality through the use of Information Technology and Communication (ICT).
Research and Development and Innovation Certification
In December 2010 Zentyal was certified as a Research and Development and Innovation (R&D+i) project by the Accreditation Agency in Research, Development and Technological Innovation (AIDIT).
EIBT
In March 2010 Zentyal (at the time, eBox Technologies) was recognized as an Innovative Technology Based Company (EIBT) by the National Association of Spanish CEEIs (ANCES).
Premio Emprendedor XXI
In June 2009 Zentyal (at the time, eBox Technologies) was nominated as one of the three finalists in the Premio Emprendedor XXI (Aragon) organized by La Caixa and ENISA (Empresa Nacional de Innovación).
Innovate!Europe
In May 2009 Zentyal (at the time, eBox Technologies) was nominated as one of the ten finalists of Innovate!Europe 2009. Over 160 Europe’s most promising startups competed in the program organized by the Guidewire Group and Innovate Ventures.
IDEA
In May 2009 Zentyal (at the time, eBox Technologies) was awarded with “IDEA Award” as for being one of the most innovative business ideas conceived in the region. The Aragonese Institute of Public Works (IAF), CEEIARAGÓN and the Fundación Emprender en Aragon grant these awards yearly in order to promote initiatives that contribute to regional development.

Gobierno de Aragon
In 2011 Zentyal received a grant from the Government of Aragón (Departamento de Innovación y Nuevas Tecnologías) for the development of the first Zentyal Migration Tool version to migrate from Windows Server to a Zentyal Linux server.
In 2010 Zentyal received a grant from the Government of Aragón (Departamento de Ciencia, Tecnología y Universidad) for the development of the first Zentyal Desktop version for Windows and Ubuntu.
In 2009 Zentyal (at the time, eBox Technologies) received a grant from the Government of Aragón (Departamento de Ciencia, Tecnología y Universidad) for the development and promotion of open source software in the region.
In 2008 Zentyal (at the time, eBox Technologies) received a grant from the Government of Aragón (Instituto Aragonés de Empleo) for the promotion of job creation in the region.
CEEI Aragon
In 2009 Zentyal (at the time, eBox Technologies) was granted an “innovative start-up” status by the CEEIARAGON, Spanish Business Innovation Center that is part of the European Business & Innovation Center Network (EBN). The CEEIARAGON is a business incubator that aims to support foundation of innovative companies to generate economic wealth in the region.
Ayuntamiento de Zaragoza
In 2009 Zentyal (at the time, eBox Technologies) received a grant from the City Council of Zaragoza for the development and promotion of entrepreneurship in Zaragoza.
